Testing Capabilities
Every JINXING transformer undergoes 30+ type and routine tests in our in-house testing laboratory. Tests are conducted per IEC 60076 / IEEE C57 standards, with third-party witnessed FAT available on request.
Routine Tests (Every Unit)
Insulation Resistance
Measurement of insulation resistance between windings and ground using 5kV megger.
Winding Resistance
Measurement of DC resistance of each winding to verify correct connections and calculate I²R losses.
Voltage Ratio
Verification of voltage ratio and vector group connection at rated voltage.
No-Load Loss
Measurement of no-load loss and current at rated voltage and frequency.
Load Loss
Measurement of load loss and impedance voltage at rated current.
Power Frequency Withstand
Applied voltage and induced overvoltage tests to verify insulation integrity.
Type Tests (Representative Units)
Lightning Impulse
Full and chopped wave impulse voltage test on HV windings to verify insulation withstand capability.
Temperature Rise
Verification of temperature rise under rated load, ensuring thermal performance meets specifications.
Sound Level
Measurement of sound power level at rated voltage and frequency.
Partial Discharge
PD measurement on dry-type and HV transformers to verify insulation quality.
Special Tests
Short-Circuit Withstand
Verification of transformer ability to withstand short-circuit forces per IEC 60076-5.
Oil Breakdown Voltage
Dielectric breakdown test of insulating oil per IEC 60156.
Dissolved Gas Analysis
DGA test to detect internal faults and monitor insulation condition per IEC 60567.
Third-Party Witness
FAT with SGS, CiT, Intertek or your inspector welcome. Test reports in English.
Evidence before shipment
Routine tests, optional type and special tests, witness FAT and structured English reports are agreed against the approved specification.

Standard products include full routine test reports. Type test reports available on request. Third-party witnessed FAT can be arranged.
